Training the Video Trainers
Friday, March 14, 2008 - 9:00 AMTom Costello
So now you’ve learned the shooting and editing skills, Thomas P. Costello will offer you suggestions on how to share this knowledge with your staff and what are the keys to their producing good online video. He will discuss the equipment that is required for a video program at your paper and why these new tools are important - from microphones and lighting, to cameras and tripods.
This session will be presented from the “still photographer shooting video” point of view. Costello is a Gannett trained video journalist, who is responsible for the training program at the Asbury Park Press where he has worked for over 20 years.
