Workshop Speaker: Ross Taylor
Ross Taylor will discuss tips on how to maintain your passion throughout your career, as well as ways to build momentum to create opportunity. Taylor will discuss the work that lead up to his time spent in a trauma hospital in Kandahar, and how that type of trip is made possible. View the images and videos from "A Chance in Hell."
In addition,Taylor will speak about the development of the educational blog: The Image, Deconstructed, is a weekly blog that examines an image or a theme, and attempts to deconstruct the mental approach behind it and the lessons learned which can be applied to your career.
Ross Taylor is a staff photographer for The Virginian-Pilot and previously worked at The Hartford Courant. He was named New England Photographer of the Year, as well as North Carolina Photographer of the Year twice. He is the mentorship chair for NPPA and also the lead creator of The Image, Deconstructed.
